Experimental Therapeutics Laboratory

Our laboratory is interested in developing new mechanism-based drugs for the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers including esophageal, colon and pancreatic cancers and genital cancers (prostate and ovarian) and pediatric malignancies, leukemia, medulloblastoma and neurobalstoma. We are working on a new structural class of compounds that can target selective Sp protein transcription factors and survivin. We are also working on novel combination therapies for enhancing the response of radiation or chemotherapy in pancreatic, ovarian and pediatric malignancies.
