Investigators at the CRI obtained a prestigious Team Science Project award from the Florida DoH Biomedical Program. $1,350,000 was awarded by the James and Esther King Program for a 3-year multidisciplinary and multi-institutional program. Dr Charles J Rosser, MD, Dept. of Surgery at MDACCO and physician-scientist at the CRI, is the Principal Investigator. He supervises 2 projects at the CRI, and projects at the Mayo Clinic-Jacksonville, UCF, and the University of Miami. The overall goal of the combined projects is to improve the quality of life for patients with bladder cancer.
