Welcome
Located on the second floor of MD Anderson – Orlando, the Medical Center Radiology Group (MCRG) Patient & Family Learning Center is a relaxed and comfortable place for patients, families and visitors to access health information. The center provides print and multimedia resources focusing on cancer-related topics, including disease-specific information, symptom management, psychosocial support and coping with a cancer diagnosis.
For many cancer patients, finding facts about their disease and treatment options can be a big stress reliever. Information gives a sense of control over their situation, and equips them with the knowledge to ask intelligent questions. Patients can then coordinate with their healthcare team to make more informed treatment decisions.
Resources and Services
The learning center’s resources include books, DVDs, CDs, pamphlets and brochures, and computers with Internet access. Patients, family members, caregivers and employees may check-out materials. The learning center also has popular paperbacks for leisure reading.
Physical Location
The MCRG Patient & Family Learning Center is located directly across from the elevators on the 2nd floor of MD Anderson – Orlando.
